Healthy Happenings July 2010
Dear Clients & Friends,

Herson and I want to take this time to thank each of you for supporting us this year. We are thankful to those of you who read our emails, send us questions and attend our classes. Each of you make up a part of helping our community become healthier.

We have lots of great news and exciting changes happening at Kim2bfit. Beginning next week, our first employee Jenny Silagyi will be joining our team. She will be helping us with staying on top of taking care of our clients and many awesome outreach projects that will soon be announced.

August 13th will be our 1st year anniversary at the studio. We are very excited! With this year anniversary, we will have some big announcements coming. As Herson and I build our team of amazing people willing to change lives, we will also be changing our name. When opening the studio, we wanted to keep our name of Kim2bfit since many people knew the name. We are now looking to create a name that portrays what we are here to offer versus just a name. We can not wait to reveal the new logo and the new name which will be servicing our community. Keep your eyes open for our new look!!!

We also want to take this time to remember the fallen officers Jeffrey Kocab and David Curtis of the Tampa Bay area. We pray for their families and pray that each of us spend each day showing love to those around us. Life is too short to do anything less.

Summer Fitness Classes
Join us for
guided group fitness classes!
It's not too late to join for just July or for the rest of the summer!
There are seven weeks left until school is back in and nine weeks until our awesome Fall Health Challenge begins! If you would like to join for the rest of summer it's only $44 per week for 3 days of semi-private personal training and $48 per week for 4 days per week.

You can expect to double your strength and lose up to 3-5 inches off your waist and hips each!

Classes are offered:
 M,W,F at 6am, 9:15am and 12:15pm or M-Th at 5:30pm.

These classes are for women only. We currently have private training and small group training for men who are interested in taking their fitness and body to the next level.

Contact us ASAP if you want to get started next week. It's a great warm up for our challenge beginning on August 30th!!!

If you are out of town on Monday the 5th, no worries, you can start mid-week next week if needed.

GIRLS TEEN NIGHT IS ALMOST HERE!

Register your teen now for an exciting night of nutrition, fitness and fun!


Your teen will enjoy an all night sleep over that will CHANGE THEIR LIFE.

This will be their opportunity to ask any questions they have pertaining to health, fitness, body image and nutrition within a comfortable environment.
Not only will they have a fun night with an awesome group of girls, they will leave with knowledge that will always motivate them to do better than they did the day before.


If you have a special teen in your life, please let them know.
 They will not want to miss this night!

It is only $25 for the night.
Payment must be made prior to the event to allow for accurate head count.

Drop off time is 7pm on July 16th and
pick up at 7am.


Girls will need to bring pillow and blankets/sleeping bag.

Kim2bfit will provide drinks and snacks.

Meeting two times per week during their last month of summer, they will learn how to have fun with exercise, the importance of staying fit & improve their overall self confidence.

We're only accepting 8 students, so please register them ASAP.

Functional Movement Screening
Take your Athlete/Performer to the Next Level!

Visit us for a 30 minute screening which assesses 7 basic functional movement patterns. Specialists Herson and Kim Garcia will determine which area is of most importance for you and/or your athlete to correct. The goal is to prevent injuries and increase performance ability.

Within 30 minutes you will receive a full assessment, an initial corrective exercise strategy to be completed at home or on the field and a greater understanding of how your body works.

Lifestyle Assessment

If you've been feeling sluggish, depressed, struggling with bloating and/or digestive issues, you definitely want to take this assessment.

First you will take an extensive survey on-line of your lifestyle and eating preferences. After completing this assessment, you will meet with Herson or Kim Garcia for approximately 1.5 hours.

During this time, you will be given a strategy to help you overcome your current health obstacles. Strategies include specific exercises for better health, nutrition recommendations specific to your metabolic type and stress relievers.

This $149 assessment will improve your skin,
muscle tone, mental health and performance.

Herson and I have decided to replace the
Member of the Month with Highlights of the Month!

Since there are only 12 months in a year and we have over 100 people who are special to us, we know there is no physical way to recognize each member who is changing their lifestyle through this recognition format.

All of you are special to us and we in no way want any of you to feel less appreciated.

We will take time to highlight accomplishments each of you are most proud of or would like to share.

We will also tell great before and after stories in this section and share those who have made it to the lifestyle wall.

Watch for new lifestyle accomplishment cards!
Once you fill in your lifestyle card, you will receive an awesome Lifestyle Shirt and a framed picture with the story of your fitness journey placed on the lifestyle wall.
