West Coast Bright Design Challenge NASF is pleased to announce that the West Coast will have its own version of the Bright Design Challenge. Currently, NASF works with the College of Creative Studies in Detroit to present the original Bright Design Challenge (BDC). This successful program, already in progress for 2010, has prompted an interest for a new program focused on a West Coast school.
The Metal Finishing Associations of Southern and Northern California is generously providing the initial funding for this scholarship program which will begin in the Fall of 2010. NASF, MFASC and MFANC will be working with the Art Center of College and Design in Pasadena, California to present a Bright Design Challenge that will incorporate several disciplines from within the Art Center. The details of the program will be unveiled early next year and you can be sure that the Challenge will indeed be exciting. The focus of the West Coast Challenge will be on a product that is used on a daily basis. Stay tuned for details on how you can help support this important program.
