 My family and I already know how fortunate we are to call Bend, Oregon home. Forbes Magazine recently identified Bend as No. 2 for the biggest expected housing-market rebound over the next four years or so.If every October were as mild as this one, we'd surely see our popularity increase even more! I hope you are enjoying the beautiful fall colors and mild temperatures while they last.

More Good News for Bend Area Real Estate |

Median home prices in Central Oregon saw an increase in September according to the Bratton Appraisal Group. The Bratton report shows Bend median prices rebounded 9% to $190,000 and Redmond median prices rose 20% to $122,000 as compared to a year ago.
Out of 384 places surveyed, Bloomberg Business Week reports that Bend has the 2nd highest four-year growth forecast of 44.7 percent. (As a reminder, the official Bend "metro area" includes all of Deschutes County.) The article says Bend prices should reach their lowest in the first quarter of next year and climb 33.6 percent by 2014. |

Most of you know by now that having a significant presence in the cyber world of search engines is a must for most businesses. How many of you search for businesses in the traditional, paper phonebook anymore? (Yes, some of us still do!) However, when you find a business listing online you get the added benefit of learning more about the company on their website.
We have had our website for at least 5 years now, but just recently updated the "look and feel" of it to reflect our longevity and "Rich Legacy of Extraordinary Homes".
