Dear Readers,
Welcome to the first issue of the Equine Ranching E-newsletter, a publication of the North American Equine Ranching Information Council (NAERIC). NAERIC is a non-profit association of equine ranchers engaged in horse production and management of pregnant mares. Estrogens extracted from pregnant mares' urine (PMU) are used in production of hormone therapies for menopausal women.
In an effort to keep our members and other equine industry associates informed about current events in the equine ranching industry, we will periodically send you these complimentary newsletters containing timely and pertinent information. Each issue will feature highlights of NAERIC programs, events, and profiles of outstanding NAERIC horses.
Best regards,
Norman K. Luba Executive Director
