Success Tip: Dream Big!
"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, magic and power in it."
These words from Goethe speak to the fact that life is too great - you are too great - to dream small dreams.
Many of us had a big dream in our youth and then got busy about making a life and a living. We began measuring success by society's yardstick instead of to our dream.
For just as many of us, our dream grew bigger as we did; self-confidence and accomplishments fueled it's size so that the dream of our youth is small when compared to our dream today.
It matters not when we dream our big dream, just that we do! Each of us has an inner big dream. It takes courage to acknowledge and to encourage it; to dust it off and to dare to live it. There is safety and ease in staying in our reality, even if we do not like it. There is nothing hard or painful about dreaming small or doing small.
What is hard and painful is when we realize that we "shoulda", "coulda", "woulda" dreamed bigger! So this week, let's all dream more..dream big...
