Toys for Tots Drive Successful
|
This year's Toys for Tots Drive was a Huge success! Thank you to everyone who took time to donate to this great cause! We received so many wonderful toys at our Dealerships.  This year we also teamed up with the Canton Chiefs Varsity Hockey Team to host another Toys for Tots event. On Friday, December 9th, during the Canton vs Novi game, we handed out $10 Off Oil Change coupons to everyone who brought a new, unwrapped toy! What an amazing evening it was!! Not only did the Chiefs bring home a victory that night but the Toys for Tots Event was an overwhelming Success!!

Jim Scales, New Car Sales RepresentativeJim is one of our New Car Sales Representatives at Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram; he has been in the automotive industry for over 24 years. He attended Inkster High School and still lives in Inkster with his wife of 40 years. Jim has been with Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Plymouth for over 2 year now and enjoys the people he works with, as well as helping his customers choose their next new vehicle. He spends his free time with his children, grandchildren and his wife, who is "the most important person" in his life. His other pastimes include Jazz music and collecting watches. His favorite movie is Pulp Fiction and his favorite food is Soul Food. Currently, Jim drives a 2003 Jaguar X Type. Jim is this month's Spotlight Employee because of his expertise in sales, his expansive product knowledge and his professional customer service. Jim always puts his customers first and makes their buying experience easy and efficient. Thanks, Jim for all that you do; you are an important member of the Dick Scott "Best Shot" Team!

Remember, as a participant of our program, your organization will receive directions on how to print donation vouchers. Participants will, in turn, present them at any Dick Scott Dealership location when they purchase/lease a new or pre-owned car, truck or bike.
At the end of each month, your organization will receive
$100 for every voucher redeemed!

| Recipe Of The Month |
 | | Gingerbread People |
What You Need
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) Butterscotch Instant Pudding
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. ground ginger
1-1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Make It
BEAT butter, sugar, dry pudding mix and egg in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Mix remaining ingredients. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well after each addition. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
HEAT oven to 350°F. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness; cut into gingerbread shapes with 4-inch cookie cutter, rerolling trimmings. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Use straw to make hole near top of each cutout.
BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 3 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely. Decorate as desired. Insert ribbon through holes to hang cookies on tree.
