HELP STOCK FAMILY IMPACT CENTER'S FOOD PANTRY SHELVES  Dick Scott Collision and Auto Glass is Sponsoring a Community-Wide Food Pantry Drive for the
Family Impact Center - Fowlerville, MI
from August 1st to August 31st Donations can be dropped off between 8am and 6pm
Monday - Friday at Dick Scott Collision Center,
which is located at 3030 Fowlerville Road, Fowlerville MI. 48836 Family Impact Center is a Christian-based organization that began serving those in need in March of 2002. They have worked hand in hand with local communities to help bring restoration to individuals and families in need by offering the following programs: - Client-Choice Food Pantry - Educational Resources - Counseling Services - Mentoring Program
-Support Groups More families request assistance from Family Impact Center during summer months because their children are not in school and, therefore, are not receiving free lunches. Consequently, the need to keep the Pantry's shelves replenished is greater than usual. In addition, donations from food drives done by schools and other organizations are much lower in the summer. So, join us to help stock the Food pantry at Family Impact Center, our local organization for individuals and families in need! Items MOST Needed: Canned fruit, fruit juice & juice boxes Canned meat (such as tuna or chicken) Canned vegetables Cleaning supplies, including detergent Meat meals, including complete meals Paper products Peanut butter & jelly Personal products Soups: chunky, regular & Ramen Noodles

With the Extreme Heat we've been having now is a good time to remember to keep your vehicle running efficiently for Summer driving conditions.
Over time, engine coolant becomes contaminated and its protective additives are depleted. The coolant system should be flushed and filled with fresh coolant periodically as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
Additives in engine coolant protect the radiator and internal engine components against wear and corrosion. Proper cooling system maintenance will decrease the odds of a summertime problem or long-term engine damage.

Michael Green, Service AdvisorMichael has been in the automotive industry for 6 years and has been a Service Advisor with Dick Scott Nissan in Canton for over a year. He attended Southfield High School and lives in Canton with his wife, Samantha.  Michael enjoys the daily interaction with his customers and helping them maintain the safety and reliability of their vehicles. He spends his free time with his wife, who is "the most important person" in his life. According to Michael, she keeps him in-line when needed and is always there to support him in whatever he does. Michael enjoys playing softball & baseball, jogging and attending sporting events. His other pastimes include watching movies and reading. His favorite movie is Jurassic Park and his favorite authors are Dean Koontz and Stephen King. Currently, Michael drives a 2005 Nissan Altima, but his ultimate dream vehicle is a 2010 Shelby Mustang GT500. Michael is this month's Spotlight Employee because of his attention to detail, "team player" attitude and great customer rapport. Thanks, Michael for all that you do; you are an important member of the Dick Scott "Best Shot" Team!

At Dick Scott Automotive Group, we realize how important it is to find new and innovative ways to enable parents and guardians to support their children's education. That's why we continue to remind you about Dick Scott Donation Vouchers, a new way to raise funds for your school.
Remember, as a participant of our program, your organization will receive directions on how to print donation vouchers. Participants will, in turn, present them at any Dick Scott Dealership location when they purchase/lease a new or pre-owned car, truck or bike.
At the end of each month, your organization will receive

| Recipe Of The Month |

Grilled Fish Foil Packets
|
What You Need
2 lemons, each cut into 10 slices, ends discarded
8 small sole fillets (1 lb.)
1/2 cup (1/2 of 8-oz. tub) Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
1 green onion, thinly sliced, divided
12 fresh asparagus spears, trimmed, cut diagonally into 2-inch lengths
1/2 cup chopped red peppers
Make It
HEAT grill to medium heat.
ARRANGE 3 lemon slices, slightly overlapping, on half of each of 4 large sheets heavy-duty foil sprayed with cooking spray. Place fish, skinned-sides up, on work surface. Spread each with 1 Tbsp. cream cheese spread; top each with 2 tsp. onions. Roll up, starting at thin end of each fillet.
PLACE 2 roll-ups, seam-sides down, on lemon slices on each foil sheet; top with asparagus and peppers. Fold each foil sheet to make packet.
GRILL 6 to 8 min. or until fish flakes easily with fork. Carefully open foil packets; top fish with remaining onions and lemon slices.
