Believe it or not color does matter when it comes to residual value of your vehicle. According to Kbb.com Sticking to neutral colors such as silver, white, black and gray are your safest bets. But, if you feel moved to more chromatic colors, bright yellow, orange, or purple vehicles could put you at a disadvantage when selling or trading in your vehicle.

Kasey Schraw, Assistant to the Director of Dealership Operations
Kasey has been in the automotive industry for over 11 years. She has spent the last 6 years with Dick Scott Automotive Group and for the past 3 years, she has been the Assistant to our Director of Dealership Operations, Nichole Scott.
 Kasey attended Plymouth Canton High School and Eastern Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. She just purchased her first home in Livonia with her Fiancé` and is planning to get married in September of 2011.
Kasey loves the many challenges her job presents each day and especially likes the feeling of accomplishment she gets when each new project is completed.
During her free time, she enjoys working on her new house as well as going to concerts and sporting events. She also looks forward to visiting and spoiling her 18 month old nephew. Kasey feels her family members are the most important people in her life. She spends as much time as possible with them. Her favorite food is steak and she enjoys watching comedies; Role Models is her most recent favorite. Her favorite book is the Twilight Series.
Currently, Kasey drives a 2008 Dodge Avenger and she someday dreams of owning a Chevy Camaro.
Kasey is this month's Spotlight Employee because of her dedication to doing the job right every time. She willingly steps in as a member of the team whenever and wherever she can help without question or complaint. Thanks Kasey for all that you do, you are an important member of the Dick Scott "Best Shot" Team!

Recipe Of The Month
|
Chocolate - Strawberry Shortcake

What You Need!
1-1/2 cups flour 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup cold butter, cut up 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup buttermilk 2 squares Unsweetened Chocolate, melted 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar 1 Tbsp. brown sugar 2 squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate 1 tub (8 oz.) Whipped Topping, thawed 3 cups quartered fresh strawberries
HEAT oven to 400°F.
MIX first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add next 3 ingredients; mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans. Mix 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar and the brown sugar; sprinkle over batter.
BAKE 12 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Remove from pans to wire racks; cool completely.
MELT semi-sweet chocolate as directed on package. Place one cake layer on plate; top with half each of whipped topping and berries. Cover with second cake layer. Top with remaining whipped topping and berries; drizzle with semi-sweet chocolate.
