Dick Scott's Indian Motorcycle Detroit is proud to announce we will be part of the
14th Annual Great Lakes Regional Chili Cook-Off & Charity Ride!
This event will be held in Downtown Plymouth on Sunday, October 4th, 2009, from 12:00pm - 5:00pm.
There will be a Chili & Salsa Cook-off along with
Live Entertainment and Lots of Fun for All Ages!
We will also have a Benefit Ride, originating at Dick Scott's Indian Motorcycle.
Registration at 8:30am, Ride Departs at 10:30am, arrive in Downtown Plymouth at 11:15am. The Cost is $10.00 per Rider and will benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Terri Young, Internet Sales Manager at Dick Scott Nissan
Terri has been in the automotive industry for 13 years and has been with Dick Scott for 9 of those years. Currently, she is the Internet Sales Manger at Dick Scott Nissan in Canton. She attended Eastern Michigan University and Cleary College and lives in Canton with her husband Doug and their dog, Sandy. Terri enjoys the versatility that her job offers and being able to meet and talk with customers on a day-to-day basis. In her free time, Terri enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and her husband. One of her favorite movies is Steel Magnolias and she loves reading biographies. Terri Young is this month's spotlight employee for all her years of hard work, her dedication to her job and her willingness to pitch in wherever she's needed. Terri is always there to do what's necessary to get the job done and whatever it is, she does it extremely well. Main Course -
Grilled Salmon with Mediterranean Salsa
Prep Time: 15 min, Total Time: 25 min, Makes: 4 servings
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/3 cup chopped plum tomatoes
1/4 cup ATHENOS Traditional Crumbled Feta Cheese
1/4 cup coarsely chopped pitted kalamata olives
4 salmon fillets (4 oz. each)
Make It
PREHEAT grill to medium heat. Mix parsley, tomatoes, cheese, olives, oil and lemon juice until well blended. Let stand at room temperature until ready to use.
GRILL salmon 5 minutes on each side or until salmon flakes easily with fork.
SERVE each fillet topped with 1/4 cup of the tomato salsa.
Dessert -
Berry Lemonade Slush
Prep Time: 10 min, Total Time: 10 min, Makes: 4 servings, 3/4 cup each
COUNTRY TIME Lemonade Flavor Drink Mix (dry)
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
Make It!
MEASURE drink mix into cap to 1-qt. line (1/2 cup). Empty into blender container.
ADD remaining ingredients; cover. Blend on high speed 10 sec. Turn off blender. Stir with spoon; cover. Blend an additional 5 sec. or until smooth, using pulsing action.

Summer is almost over and Carpool Season is just around the corner! At Dick Scott Automotive Group we realize how important it is to find new and innovative ways to motivate parents and guardians to support their children's education. That's why we continue to remind you about Dick Scott Donation Vouchers, a new way to raise funds for your school.
Remember, as a participant of our program, your organization will receive donation vouchers on a monthly or quarterly basis. The vouchers are for distribution to parent/guardians of students. Participants will, in turn, present them at any Dick Scott Dealership location when they purchase/lease a new or pre-owned car, truck or bike. At the end of each month, your organization will receive $100 for every voucher redeemed! Any costs associated with designing the artwork for your organization and printing the donation vouchers is absorbed by Dick Scott.
