The road to success in Accreditation 2012 relies on each and every staff member, physician and volunteer at The Scarborough Hospital are preparing to demonstrate all 33 of our Required Organizational Practices (ROPs).
Accreditation is a peer review process administered by the organization Accreditation Canada that measures a hospital's programs, services, policies and procedures according to national standards of excellence. It is a process of continuous quality improvement. All acute care hospitals participate to evaluate and improve quality and safety of services.
