The 17th Annual Toronto Auxiliary Police Toy Drive is now underway. Please help bring Christmas to under-privileged children in our community by donating unwrapped toys. Toy donation boxes have been placed near the Tim Hortons at the General campus Main Entrance, and at the Birchmount campus in front of the Gift Shop. Toys will be delivered to children at various locations in the community on Saturday, December 10, but you can still donate unwrapped toys until after the holidays. |

The Scarborough Hospital's vision is to be recognized as Canada's leader in providing the best healthcare for a global community, and serving our diverse population with appropriate language and cultural supports is an important part of our strategy. Recently, we partnered with Carefirst's volunteer development program to explore ways of using volunteers to help us improve the patient experience for our Chinese patients. Waheeda Rahman, Director of Diversity, Equity and Stakeholder Outreach here at the hospital, joined Carefirst at a recent press conference to promote that organization's volunteer recruitment activities. > MORE |

"However, for the safety of all patients, visitors should take the time to be aware of certain policies and procedures." > MORE |
