Volunteer Services' holiday bazaars raise $10K The Scarborough Hospital is fortunate to have the assistance of over 800 dedicated volunteers at both hospital campuses. Their 26th Annual Bazaar was held at the Birchmount campus on Oct. 21 and a Mini-Bazaar was held at the General campus on Nov. 15, 2010. The joint proceeds from these two fundraisers totaled almost $10,000, which was allocated to their pledge to help purchase two new CT Scanners. New volunteers are always welcome, and information sessions are held periodically throughout the year. > MORE |
