 Umbilical Cord Blood Banking Families delivering babies at The Scarborough Hospital now have the opportunity to bank umbilical cord blood, providing a match for their child should they become ill and require a stem cell transplant later in life.

Speaking from the heart at the celebration was Harvey Walker, who was inspired to make a $100,000 donation to the hospital because of the compassionate care his late wife Joan received from our palliative care unit.
