Celebrating fifty years of volunteering

Volunteers celebrate 50 yearsOn April 20, 2010, The Scarborough Hospital celebrated National Volunteer Week which included the annual recognition and long service dinner. Three TSH volunteers, Jean Kennedy, Shirley McDonald and Thelma Thomson, reached the unbelievable milestone of 50 years of volunteer service each.  Many thanks to these three dedicated ladies and all the TSH volunteers who donated an incredible 56,705 hours to our hospitals last year.

The Scarborough Hospital created a short multimedia presentation to honour our volunteers, which you can view on YouTube.

Learn more about volunteering opportunities at The Scarborough Hospital, and find out how you can get involved.
