 2010 UNITED WAY
 LOANED EXECUTIVES

Loaned Executives 2010

What is a Loaned Executive?
A Loaned Executive is a community volunteer who is "loaned" on a part-time basis by their employer to work on the annual United Way fundraising campaign.

What is their role?
Loaned Executives serve as United Way ambassadors to the business community.  They establish contact with assigned accounts to help plan and implement successful campaigns.  They make presentations to employee groups, educating them about United Way, sharing stories of our partner agencies' impact and asking for their financial support.

Who should be a Loaned Executive?
Enthusiastic team players who may be new or seasoned veterans who have a desire to give back to our community.

What are the benefits?
Serving as a Loaned Executive leader is very rewarding, both personally and professionally.  We combine excellent leadership opportunities with the personal satisfaction that comes from reaching out a hand to help others.

It's also an opportunity to network with other businesses in the community and provide your organization with enhanced visibility.

Thank you 2010 Loaned Executives!
We are grateful to the caring community leaders who are committed to ensuring a successful United Way campaign.  It is through people like you, that we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow.  Thank you!

Royal Braley
Changed A Sign by Changing Minds

Royal E. Braley Jr. saw the dangers of crossing Saginaw Road at Eastlawn first hand. Afraid someone might get hurt, he and his friend Colleen worked with City Council to make a change. Overcoming his own obstacles gave him the courage to help others. The new signs have longer crossing times and a visible countdown. By raising his voice, Royal made a change that speaks for us all.

That's his promise, what's yours?
