Gulf Seafood ConferencePress Conference a Success!

Gulf Seafood: Clean, Safe & Delicious!

Dear Friends,

Thanks to all of you who came out to support the Press Conference
held on Friday at the Seafarers' Center.

We had excellent coverage from our local Television Stations,
Newspapers and Electronic News Sources. The Texas Department
Agriculture expressed great appreciation for our initiative on this
and stressed the importance of continuing to inform the public of
the safety of our local wild-caught Gulf seafood.

Our job is far from done, but we had a successful kick off! Please
help us in reminding your friends, families and coworkers that our
local seafood is safe.  Fear-mongering will only hurt area fishers
and restaurant owners.  Not only that, but our wild-caught Gulf
seafood has wonderful flavor that foreign and/or farm-raised
seafood lacks.

Our chef's at the press conference made that abundantly clear.
And look at the dishes below. Are you willing to give up these
delights for absolutely no reason??? I'm NOT!
