Neal J Johnson, President & CEO of Special Olympics New YorkDear Friends:

A Message from Neal J. Johnson,
President & CEO of Special Olympics New York

As always, I want to personally thank you for the continued support of our organization and the 47,654 athletes that compete in our Program.

I am pleased to announce a new initiative that will help Special Olympics New York (SONY) raise new dollars for a cause that you and I believe in, while at the same time provide our supporters with an opportunity to help themselves.  We have teamed up with a company called ShopWurld and are inviting you to join the ShopWurld program and be part of what we believe is a wonderful, unique initiative.

When joining ShopWurld, you will be given the choice of either becoming a Direct Customer and earn generous rebates from over 1,000 major merchants or becoming a Network Partner and earning additional income for you and your family.
ShopWurld - It's your World Get a Piece of it!
What's unique about joining ShopWurld's Network Partner program to earn additional income is that, in doing so, you will also help SONY at the same time. The combination of an exciting income opportunity for you and your family coupled with your strong desire to help our organization succeed is a win/win relationship!

We hope you will visit the website and watch the videos at www.ShopWurld.com to see how you can earn money while you help our organization. Joining ShopWurld is by invitation only, so you will need to use our ShopWurld ID (9LLJCK) when you sign up.

Regards,

Neal J. Johnson
President & CEO
Special Olympics New York

It's a Law & Order Applebee's Marathon!!

During the dinner hours of Wednesday, April 29, 2009 Applebee's locations across upstate New York will be switching things up a bit to raise money and awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics New York.
Law enforcement from across your community will be on hand to help out your waiter, maybe bus your table or even get you another diet cola!  In addition to the server's tip, donations will be accepted for the great work of your law enforcement helper with all proceeds going directly to Special Olympics New York!  So plan to have dinner at Applebee's on April 29th and have your favorite local officer wait on you!
