Green Inn Tip of the Month

Have you considered investing in organic linens? Today, beautiful
towels, sheets and other linens are made from 100% certified organic
resources. Many people believe that organic linens are much softer and
longer wearing than regular cotton linens. This is a unique way to
position your inn and if you wash them with organic and natural
cleaners, you can give guests another green idea that they can re-create at home.  Be sure to promote this unique "green" commitment in you literature and on your website.

Cleaning Tip of the Month
:
2 Solutions for removing stains and odors

1. Stanley Degreaser Concentrate. This product works great on all linens, especially restaurant napkins and tableclothes; removing the grease stains and the nasty grease smell that is picked up just being around foods and cooking.  It is available from your local Stanley representative.  Just google on-line to locate your representative.

2. If you keep buttermilk and baking soda on your shelves just make a paste of the two products and apply on any stain.  Let set before washing.  This combination works especially well on wine and blood.
