| Green Inn Tip of the Month |
Have you considered investing in organic linens? Today, beautiful towels, sheets and other linens are made from 100% certified organic resources. Many people believe that organic linens are much softer and longer wearing than regular cotton linens. This is a unique way to position your inn and if you wash them with organic and natural cleaners, you can give guests another green idea that they can re-create at home. Be sure to promote this unique "green" commitment in you literature and on your website.

"HUMOR"
YOU MIGHT BE AN INNKEEPER......
If it's been six months since you opened a new roll of toilet paper or bar of soap for youself!
______________ Cleaning Tip of the Month:
2 Solutions for removing stains and odors
1. Stanley Degreaser Concentrate. This product works great on all linens, especially restaurant napkins and tableclothes; removing the grease stains and the nasty grease smell that is picked up just being around foods and cooking. It is available from your local Stanley representative. Just google on-line to locate your representative.
2. If you keep buttermilk and baking soda on your shelves just make a paste of the two products and apply on any stain. Let set before washing. This combination works especially well on wine and blood.

Great Innkeeper uses for WD-40 (The basic ingredient is FISH OIL!!!)
1. Protects silver from tarnishing
2. Gives floors that "just waxed" sheen without making it slippery
3. Removes lipstick stains
4. Loosens stubborn zippers
More great uses next month
