Most people with an interest in alternatives - and if you're reading this then you're probably in this category - have spent a lot of years campaigning for change in our world. We've been in the habit of focusing on what is wrong with our world so that we can put it right.

When we're in this state of worry we are out of the groove or flow of life. Our energy body is contracted and we are not able to expand and connect with new opportunities.
This year most of us will be faced with change and choices at some or many levels of our lives. It is important that we are open and available to the opportunities that are coming our way. We need to be able to connect with the best possible outcome for ourselves and for humanity and we need to be at peace with ourselves to do that.
Learn to flip the switchSo what to do? It takes discipline but you can learn to flip a switch that will take you from negativity to positivity in an instant.
1. The first step is to become aware of how we are feeling. Notice when you are stuck in a negative loop - this might sound obvious but quite often we don't realise when we are being negative.
2. Breathe deep into your tummy
3. The next step is to find something that makes you feel good. One way is to keep a picture close to you, maybe a picture of your children or your dog or a favourite retreat place. Look at that picture till you're energy changes from ggrrrhhh to aaahhh. Hold that feeling.
4. Get some perspective on whatever is making you feel negative. We often allow little things to affect us much more than they should. In our office, when something happens the question we ask each other is 'did anyone die?' No.
4. Tell yourself that no matter how it looks to you at the moment - everything is perfect the way that it is.
5. Step away from your office. Get out into nature. Listen to the birds. Smell the flowers. Feel the wind.
6. Check to see if you need some essences. Holding or taking an essence will change your vibration immediately.
