Greetings!

Sancturary : a place of refuge

Today I'm writing about creating a sancturary for you and your family to retreat to while the world goes through this challenging transition. I hope you'll find the information useful or at least a good reminder to make use of the tools that you have on a regular basis. The essences mentioned in this article are available to Newsletter readers at a 50% discount til the end of October.

Also below is some info on upcoming Indigo Essence workshops in Ireland.

until the next time,

Sanctuary : a place of refuge

We've all seen it: The man sitting holding his head in his hands, the woman screaming at her child in the supermarket, the driver loosing it in traffic.

The energy out there is spikey, edgy, fearful, confused, disillusioned and angry.

And whether we realise it or not, we pick up on each other's feelings.  Like the resonance between guitars, if someone is sending out a note we resonate with, we'll start playing it back.  For example, if you've got a bit of anger hanging around, you encounter someone who is shouting and roaring and next thing you know, you're shouting and roaring too.

And adults aren't the only ones to do that. About the time of the London riots I had mothers on the phone saying their children had turned into the anti-christ, acting out like never before.  The energy that very sensitive children pick up on doesn't have to be local.  Their sensitivity means that they can feel things from far away.

So what to do ?  The turmoil in the world out there isn't going to get better over night. We're in the process of monumental change and I would say that change is the new normal.

It's important to create a sanctuary for yourself and your family to come home to.  Create a place where the energy is clear and balanced. Create a place that is relaxing, healing and comforting.

steps to creating your own sanctuary

1.  Say that it is so.  We create by intention so state your intention that your home be a safe and healing place

2. Take a good look at your home and the objects in it. Throw out anything that needs to be thrown out.  For example leaving a dead plant in a room can de energise   the space.

3. Make a warm, snuggly place somewhere where all members of the family can come to rest and recharge.

4. Decorate this space with beautiful objects that are meaningful to you.  Ask your children to place something precious to them in this space also.

5.  Keep essences and essence sprays in this space so that you have them to hand when you need them.

essence ideas for your sanctuary

1. For angry children mix Chill  essence into some playdough and make shapes with it.

2. For stressed out adults put drops of Hematite and Dragons' Blood into a basin of salt water and sit with your feet in it.  Hematite will ground and clear your energy and Dragons' Blood will re-energise you at the same time.  You can also make a salt and essence rub to apply before you take a shower or bath.

3. For overwhelm add drops of Easy essence to an oil or handcream and massage them into hands, shoulders and feet.

4. Keep a bottle of Settle spray in the space and spray it frequently to keep the energy calm and clear.

Special Offer:  50% discount on the essences mentioned above till October 31st. Just place your order online and put the text "newsletter" in the comment box and you will be refunded 50% of the essence price.
