It's been quite a winter hasn't it. Even temperate Ireland has had weeks of record low temperatures and a covering of snow.
Fresh Start
I love the way a blanket of snow wipes out the old lines in the landscape, making a brand new canvas for us to create on.

Ruby & Kyanite, 1 & 2
Started March 21st. 2001, finished Sept.10th. 2002
Ruby and Kyanite 1 & 2 were the last essences of the New Child Series which was mostly completed in 1999. In February 2001 I got a very strong message that an essence needed to be made with Ruby. Little did I know that this would turn out to be the most difficult essence I've ever made. As you can see from the dates above, it wasn't finished until more than a year after it was started.
I chose a ruby and got ready to make the essence. What happened next is part of the intrigue of this pair of essences. On the appointed day I went to get some water. 'No, not water, snow' they said, they being the team that work with me. It just happened that there had been a very unusually late fall of snow the night before. So I went and filled a bowl with snow and placed the ruby in the centre.
'Now get some Kyanite' they said. I've learnt that you have to be patient with this lot, and always expect the unexpected. So I got a piece of Kyanite and placed it beside the bowl.
The essence making process went ahead as usual. When the essence was ready to be bottled I got out one bottle. 'No', they said, 'two bottles'. 'What?' My mind started whirring, one essence, two bottles, how could that be ?
'Beloved', they said patiently, 'this essence is about rebalancing the male and female energies and erasing the patterns of abuse of power by both males and females so that you can move on in balance to unity consciousness.'
Ok, so that made sense of the snow - erases patterns, and the Ruby and Kyanite - representing the female and male energy, but the two bottles?
'The division into two, that you call duality, can be representated by the story of Adam and Eve. The whole divided into two, Eve came from Adam. Your one bottle of essence is now going to divide into two, the original taking on the atributes of the balanced male, the second the atributes of the balanced female. In a way, we are going back in time to the original separation so that we can come forward in balance.'
Whoppee do. I thought it was all done. Some time later I still wasn't happy with Ruby Kyanite 2 so I showed it to Peter Tadd, a wonderful clairvoyant and essence reader who reads all the Indigo Essences. Peter agreed that No 2 wasn't as clear as No 1.
Then I realised that this lack of clarity and form came from my own unbalanced female energies. There started a long journey that took more than a year to complete. The essence was finally sealed at a sacred site called Glendalough. This site is very feminine but was guarded by male priests. Sitting there I tried to get an understanding of why the imbalanced male energy was always trying to dominate the female energy.
The goddess of the lake spoke and tried to show me the immensity of female energy - unbounded, unformed, unfocussed, amorphous. She then showed me the male energy, so well represented by the Kyanite blade - sharp, focused, directional, clear.
She showed me that the male energy could not make sense of the female energy and so tried to make it smaller, tried to compress it and control it into a shape it could understand. This has resulted in aeons of the most terrible abuse of power.
She showed me that both male and female can come into balance by acknowledging and being sensitive to the difference between them.
My team have told me that it's important that we clear these patterns of abuse, which for many of us, go back generations.
Now, as the issues of clerical abuse in Ireland is so topical, it seems like a good time to focus on these two wonderful essences.

The female counterpart of No 1. Clears out old, inherited patterns to
do with the use of female or yin energy. Helps remove tendencies to be
passive. Allays fears about be-ing female. Helps to bring your new
female and male energies into balance.
