I've got a couple of things to talk about this month.
*The Indigo Children Ten Years Later
the new book by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. I''ve written a short piece in this one and have been reminiscing about what the last ten years have meant to me and the children I know.
*Indigo ClinicPlans are afoot to establish a centre of excellence for the treatment of new children in Ireland - first meetings happening soon. Would you like to be part of this ? Got any thoughts?

The Indigo Children Ten Years Later
|
At long last, Lee Carroll and Jan Tober's new book on the new children has been published.
I
was asked for a submission for this book and wrote a bit about what
I've learnt from these challenging, yet fascinating young people.
It's hard to believe it's been ten years since I started making essences. My nephews Ben and
Mica, who were so much part of the essence making process, are now young
men, both in their final years in school, determining what they'll get
up to next.
This past ten years hasn't been easy for anyone
associated with the Indigo movement. There have been attacks, ridicule and a lack of financial support for many projects involving the evolution of consciousness. Important issues, like new educational models & ways of
communicating with kids who are having problems, don't seem to have
moved on very much. Appropriate schools are few and far between, I even know of a family who moved from Ireland to the US so that their child could attend a school that addressed the whole of her, not just her brain.
Teenagers are in a lot more trouble than ever before and no one can ignore this fact any longer. The behaviour of these kids is symptomatic of our own dis-ease, both as individuals and as a society. We are being forced to look for solutions to the epidemic of violence the kids are presenting us with. Those of us who work with the new children know that the old ways of imposing more and more rules and penalities will not work. To move on from this point, we must look at ourselves and the world we live in, we must examine and be willing to change the fear based rules and restrictions that we've lived by for so long.
Some people see this as a crisis, I see it as an opportunity. This is the time the children of transition incarnated for. If we work together with the kids we will find the keys to unlocking a brand new future for everyone.
Scarey?.....yes it is. Can we do it .............yes we can.

Indigo Clinic
A Centre of Excellence for the Treatment of New Children
It has long been a dream of mine to establish a clinic that specialises in the treatment of the unique and special challenges that face the new children and their parents.
The new children bring with them unusual problems that can best be resolved by therapists who have an understanding of energy, spirituality & the new children, combined with their regular healing modality.
Let me give you a couple of examples of why this specialist understanding is helpful.
Seeing visions
A young girl was brought to see me with depression. I was looking around for reasons for her depression and not finding anything unusual. Then I asked her 'Do you ever see things?'. 'How did you know?' she asked. It was a good guess on my part. This young girl had been clairvoyant since birth. She saw people and energies that other people couldn't see. At some point she realised that society views people who 'see' things as mad. This young girl was clearly not mad and didn't want to end up in an institution so she decided not to ever talk to anyone about this. However, her daily visions and sense of being different made her feel increasingly isolated. She was so relieved that she could talk to me about what she saw and experienced. She really didn't need any further treatment. She simply needed to be able to talk freely about her experiences and to know that she wasn't alone. I told her about Indigo Children and she was fascinated. She later went on to form a support group for kids with abilities like her.
Being conceptual rather than linear
Another example was of a little child with speech delay. This little girl was normal in every other way. I had a feeling that she was one of the new children and may prefer to telepath rather than speak so I asked her mother to ask her why she wouldn't speak and wait to 'hear ' the answer. The answer the mother got was extraordinary. The child sent the message 'Mama I will not speak, speech is too linear'. This little child was afraid that if she started to speak she would loose her wonderful ability to be a telepath and empath. The answer was to let her know that it was ok to do both. She soon started to speak.....and has hardly stopped ever since !
In both of the cases above, a knowledge of the potential problems the new children can experience helped me to help them very quickly.
THE IRISH INDIGO CLINIC
We are starting to gather together expert practitioners who understand what is going on with the kids on an energy level and can apply and integrate this understanding with their therapy.
We need practitioners in any modality who have expertise in treating the common complaints of the New Children such as ADHD, Autism, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Dyslexia, ODD, OCD, food sensitivities etc.

Indigo Practitioner Training
For the first time ever, Ann is teaching a three part Indigo Practitioner Training course.
The course will focus on three main areas:
- Indigo Essences: philosophical background, uses, consultation process, prescribing, dosage, integration with other healing modalities.
- New Children: how to recognise them & understand their special needs and challenges and see beyond diagnosis to the gifts they bring.
- Changing Consciousness: The journey from Love to Fear - a roadmap for handling change & dealing with ascension symptoms

The course is designed for therapists and practitioners who are already
in practice and who would like to use Indigo Essences as an adjunct to
their existing therapy.
On successful completion of the course requirements, participants will
be issued with a certificate of competence to use Indigo Essences and
are eligible for listing on the Indigo Essences websitee as an Indigo
Essence practitioner.

Ann loves and understands new children. In her practice she uses homoeopathy and Indigo Essences to help them deal with the challenges they face in the world. One of Ann's great assets is her ability to understand and articulate how the new child perceives the world. This understanding can then be utilised in the development of a treatment programme especially tailored to each child's unique needs.
