Please come cheer on our students in this year's Chagrin Valley Hunter Jumper Classic Horse Show! The show is located at the Metroparks Polo Field at the corner of Route 87 (S. Woodland) and Chagrin River Road in Moreland Hills. Classes for riders with disabilities will be held on Friday, July 9 beginning at 9:30 a.m. We do suggest that you bring along your own lawn chairs, sunscreen and snacks.
For those competing in the show, appropriate attire for all riders consists of the following:
- Hard-soled shoes or boots
- Long pants (jeans are acceptable but khaki colored pants or breeches & boots are ideal)
- White button-down shirts or riding shirts (long sleeves, unless extremely hot)
- Solid, dark blazer or riding jacket (optional)
- Males should wear ties
- Long hair should be pulled back in a pony tail and neatly fit under the riding helmet.
Because horse show schedules can be very unpredictable, it is not possible to know when each class will begin or end, so there may be a lot of time spent waiting. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your class time and dress comfortably for the weather.
