Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center Announces
Spring Swing Fundraiser

Bainbridge, Ohio - June 1, 2010 - Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center's 3rd annual Spring Swing fundraiser was a great success!
Development Director, Maureen Foster was very pleased with the event and said, "This is such a fun evening and we are so grateful to all of our supporters who helped us raise more than $40,000 for our program."
The Darlington Polo Club came in from Pennsylvania to take on the Cleveland Polo Club. "We love to support Fieldstone Farm! This is a great event and a fun way to kick off our season," said Steve O'Neill of the Cleveland Polo Club. Guests of the Spring Swing cocktail party also enjoyed music by Drene Ivy, an array of tapas by Elan Catering and games of chance including a "wine pull" and a silent auction. A carriage driving demonstration was presented by Paul Thompson, a
Fieldstone Farm student, and was narrated by his wife, Christine. "Following an accident, my husband, Paul, needed a wheelchair. Carriage driving is one of Fieldstone Farm's unique programs and he can drive the carriage from his wheelchair. He works hard to maintain his posture, grasp and use the reins and give voice commands to his horse. We have enjoyed the benefits of knowing horses and being part of the Fieldstone Farm community and will continue to be staunch supporters forever!" stated Christine Thompson to the Spring Swing guests during the carriage driving demonstration.
