Greetings!
After many discussions, careful research and market
surveys, we've finally decided on the format for this year's Hay Day event.
Due to the high cost of our traditional Hay Day event and the fact that some of our financial supporters have had to cut back, we will be holding a cash raffle event this year.
We will send out an invitation for a raffle drawing explaining why we are changing the traditional event this year. Supporters will be invited to purchase a raffle ticket for a cash prize and attend a short, informal raffle
drawing event on Saturday, September 11th at Fieldstone Farm. We plan to have a simple get-together with beer, wine and light appetizers. A raffle winner will be
drawn by a student and there will be a brief presentation by a speaker explaining how Fieldstone Farm has benefited this student. Corporate sponsors will still be solicited and will be included on the invitation, as well as having a banner displayed at the event.
Thanks to each one of you who dedicated your valuable time to helping us to reach this decision. We received so many fantastic ideas and thoughts about this event and our fundraising events in general; it was an invaluable process for us and we are very grateful.
