 | One Hour Each Week: Bridge the Digital Divide
|
|

Hamilton Family Center is proud to announce: Pathways to Technology. Now formerly homeless families can earn a computer and internet service for one year in their new home with on-going computer education, technical support and a special savings account with a $50 savings bonus.
Pathways to Technology will:
- Help kids and youth succeed academically: kids can do homework on the computer at home for the first time.
-Increase family self-sufficiency: stabilize families in their new homes by creating access to community resources like MyHousing.org.
-Increase family income: parents can apply for work, access financial services and participate in training online
Families need one on one help from volunteers to learn basic computer skills Volunteers who are bi-lingual in Spanish and English are especially helpful Computer Hours will be held each week beginning in April on Monday and Thursday evenings. Volunteers are asked to make a commitment to attending one weekly computer hour on a regular basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to see families progress and learn new skills.
To participate in on-going computer hours please email Megan at Mowens@HamiltonFamilyCenter.org to reserve a spot at the computer hour volunteer orientation:
