Simplicity is good, but not when it comes at the expense of accuracy. It seems to me that when the mercury sinks, skiers just apply the hardest wax they can find and expect the best. I have found though that in very cold conditions discrepancies in people's skis are often huge, despite how "simple" everything seems. Biathlete Andrea Henkel Wins Double Gold at World Championships |


German World and Olympic Champion Andrea Henkel won the first two events at the Biathlon World Championships in Oestersund, Sweden. The events were the 7.5km sprint and the pursuit race.
German Alexander Wolf won his first individual World Championship medal in the pursuit in incredible fashion going from 19th place to 3rd place in just 12.5kms! Congratulations Andrea and Alexander!
