Overview
MTS Nano Instruments (MTS-NI) is a respected leader in the design and development of surface measuring and characterization tools at the submicron scale. MTS-NI was interested in expanding their reach from academic and governmental environments into quality assurance and other applications in industrial manufacturing markets and needed new selling tools to explain how their products work and identify the advantages they offer.
Client Objective
To develop a product launch vehicle that not only functions as a selling tool and training aid for "The Nano Indenter G200 System" but can also operate independently to identify primary components and explain the use of this product

Infographics Solution
- Utilizing 3-D CAD data as foundation for the animations,
Infographics created an interactive DVD to be used as a product launch vehicle for MTS-NI's newly
enhanced measuring product, "The Nano Indenter G200 System."
- Infographics used animations to identify components of the system and component functionality.
- A looping music track accompanied the demonstration to enhance the presentation.
Results
- The versatility of the completed DVD far exceeded the client's expectations.
- MTS-NI
uses the animated sequences as a sales tool, training aid and in loop
form at trade show kiosks to supplement printed materials.
- For about the same cost as a printed brochure, MTS-NI now has an
interactive tool to educate customers about the system's key functions
and benefits, yielding an increase in sales opportunities.
