From Pastor Jim |
Dear Friends,
I hope that you and your family enjoyed this Memorial Day weekend, even if Tropical Storm Beryl had other plans. My wife and I are about to board a plane to Seattle, WA for our Alaskan Cruise. We are celebrating 25 years of marriage, as well as her and my 50th birthday. We also had the blessing of celebrating our oldest daughter's 21st birthday this year--a year of milestones! Please keep us in your prayers while we are traveling.
I'm sure many of you are getting ready to celebrate the milestone of graduation. Clay County Schools will present thousands of 12th graders a high school diploma on June 3rd. It is my hope and prayer that as these seniors look to this time of celebration and achievement, that they will also look forward to a new phase in life of spiritual growth and maturity that comes with adulthood.
Summer is quickly approaching. Please take full advantage of all that our church has to offer this summer for children, youth, and adults.
God is GOOD! ALL the time!
Your pastor and friend...
P.S. We are looking for someone who wants to help out in the office organizing our library of books. If you are interested please email Sara @ [email protected].
