From Pastor Jim |

We had our best women's retreat ever last weekend. 40 women participated. A special thank you to the planning team who made this weekend great. The ladies returned refreshed, revived, challenged, with a new sense of belonging and purpose.

This Weeks Funnies
|
My wife has not spoken to me in three days. I think it has something to do with what happened on Sunday night when she thought she heard a noise downstairs. She nudged me and whispered, "Wake up, wake up!" "What's the matter?" I asked. "There are burglars in the kitchen. I think they're eating the tuna casserole I made tonight." "That'll teach them!" I replied.
A confirmation student was asked to list the Ten Commandments in any order. He wrote: 3, 6, 1, 8, 4, 5, 9, 2, 10, 7.
A fellow kindergarten teacher was giving her class a lesson on using scissors. As she helped one child who was having difficulty, she asked him if he had any scissors at home. He replied, "No, but I do have two brudders!"
It was graduation day and mom was trying to take a picture of their son in a cap and gown, posed with his father.
"Let's try to make this look natural," she said. "Junior, put your arm around your dad's shoulder."
The father answered, "If you want it to look natural, why not have him put his hand on my wallet?"
Tony and Teddy find three hand grenades and decide to take them to the police station. "What if one of them explodes before we get there?" asks Teddy. "Don't worry about it," says Tony. "We'll just lie and tell them we only found two."
