Just a note to let you know that I have not left on my journey but I have started my blog.
Please go to www.onepointsixmillion.org  --  my blog will be there.  Along the top please click:"About this Journey". as it is there that I listed my reasons for taking the trip.   As I travel along,  I will probably discover the one or many more reasons why I am doing this.

I do hope you will follow along and let your friends and family know so that together we can discover the USA from the perspective of homelessness for millions of kids as well as communities and ordinary people who are trying to help.   The blog will also include my personal journey of someone who is intent upon learning many things that you might already know!

Ryan Locante is posting the blog for me, Matt Raab is navigating the road maps, and Barbara Bacon (bmbacon90@gmail.com ) and Frederique Eisenbach Frederique@charter.net ) are researching shelters and putting together list of contacts any of you have -- not to stay with - but would have info in any area.
