We are just one short month away from our biggest event of the year, The Annual Turfgrass Conference & Tradeshow.  Our Conference Committee has secured a great line-up of speakers and educational sessions, found a new home for the Tradeshow and added a hands-on Sports Turf Workshop.  I hope to see you all in Auburn next month.  Remember, we extended our "early bird" registration rate until this Friday, September 18th so get your registration in today!

 

A big thank you to everyone who supported and participated in the Cornelson Family Benefit on August 27th.  We successfully raised $6,700 for Jeff and his children.  Our industry always seems to amaze me with it's generosity!  Thank you!

 

Thank you to our Nominating Committee who recruited an great slate of officers and board members for 2010.  They are listed below for your information.  We appreciate all these gentlemen for their dedication to our association.  Be sure to attend our Business Meeting on October 21st at the Conference to vote on this slate.

 

And lastly, I would like to encourage every member to help us raise money at our live auction by donating an item.  This is the most entertaining event at the conference . . . we have fun, score great deals on turf products and equipment, AND raise much-needed funds for the turfgrass industry.  The proceeds are going to a great cause and it will be fun watching everyone try to outbid each other for your donation!
