Dear Friends:

As you may know, Karen Carpenter stepped down as the fulltime Executive Director of the NH Children's Trust Fund on December 31. Karen will continue to hold the title of Executive Director working part-time into April 2009. We are grateful for her years of service and leadership to the children and families of New Hampshire and for the leadership she is providing during the transition.

During our evolution from one executive director to the next, the Board of Directors and Karen are working together make a smooth transition to a new executive director who can lead the Children's Trust Fund to our vision of being the leader in keeping children safe and families strong in New Hampshire.

Would you please take a few minutes to read through the attached announcement and then share it with anyone on your contact list who you think would be a potential candidate or someone who is well connected and would share it further throughout the nonprofit sector? If you are aware of a potential candidate, please contact me directly. A complete job description is on our website at www.nhctf.org.

Everyone at the Children's Trust Fund is so grateful for your support over the years. We thank you again for your thoughtfulness and care for the children and families of New Hampshire. We cannot do it without you.
