Dear Friends:

These are challenging economic times for many and the challenges we face in helping prevent child abuse and neglect during these times are compounded. All around New Hampshire are community based programs that strengthen families. Strengthening families takes strong organizations, helped by dynamic staff, volunteers and more support.

We hope that the suggestion in my Op-Ed article being published in newspapers around the state will encourage that kind of support. Here are links to two papers that have published the article:

I hope you will consider the many ways, including perhaps donating part of your tax rebate, that will help strengthen families and the organizations that serve them.

Our website lists ways you can donate to the New Hampshire Children's Trust Fund or find contact
information so that you can give directly to family support agencies in New Hampshire.
The New Hampshire Children's Trust Fund was established in 1987 by legislative statute RSA 169-C:39 to support programs in New Hampshire that work to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our focus is primary prevention initiatives that keep children safe and families strong.
