Join us for a great month of sports. We'll have college football, NFL and basketball action on five big TVs. We also have pro bartenders on staff, which can be attractive as we get near the holidays and Aunt Jeanie calls and says she's coming for a six-day surprise visit.

Greetings!
Now that we've all gained 7.25 pounds eating smushed Halloween mini-chocolates, sticky gummies and Gobstoppers, it may be time to refocus a bit.
And the Diamondback is right here for you with delicious food that's homemade and doesn't come in a plastic wrapper with nutritional information on the side. We're talking fresh veggies, healthy meats, homemade soups and of course, drinks at the bar with our very own professional bartending staff who are here to help you relax and enjoy life.
It's going to be a great month November is always one of our favorite months at the DB, and there's lots going on. Hope you'll join us for our Fall Oyster Roast and New Orleans-style Shrimparoo (see below), the Carrier Classic Seafood Event (see below) and a big Thanksgiving Homecoming Weekend (see below). We have a new dinner menu but other than that, it's pretty much the same old folks around here you already like.
Man alert: the Christmas Countdown has begun and many women may be having, well, a bit of a freak out*.
Yes, it happens this time of year. You know the signs: the blank stares, the "can you just put a little more cash in my account," the sleepless nights worrying over little Jimmy's Dumbledore Elderwand that he absolutely HAS TO HAVE, MOMMA (the real one from the wand shop in Orlando, not the fake plastic one). Yes, Christmas is coming and Michael Jackson's Propofol trial is just going to have to wait while women all over the nation head out to find the LEGO Ninjago Fire Temple 2507 before someone else does. So we invite all men to bring your women to the Diamondback this month. Maybe even multiple times. A great dinner, a little wine and ahhh, everything just might be all right.
Check out our brand spankin' new website and follow us on Twitter (we're getting mighty 21st century around here)Yes, we're getting high-tech around here (well, kinda). We have a fantastic new website (click here to see it,) plus we've joined Twitter, created a news blog, started building an online store for t-shirts -- whew! You can even make a reservation on your iPhone 4s. Read more about that below and in the meantime -- come see us at the Diamondback!
-- Kimberly and Murphy
*Freaking out over Christmas is a natural, normal mental state. A little glass of Pinot, a night out with friends, not having to clean up the kitchen for the 12,000th time ... all of these things can be very helpful to restore that sense of calm.

FOOD FROM THE FARMER'S MARKET and RECIPES FROM SOMEBODY'S MOMMA
We want to thank many of the local farm stands for providing us with fresh, healthy produce for the Diamondback. Some of our favorites: Pinch Me Acres (thank you, Fowler Ruffin), Shore Farms and Let It Grow Produce. No two ways about it -- food made with fresh ingredients is healthier for you, and it just tastes better. Stop by and check out our fall menu, or see it online by clicking here. FALL DRINK SPECIALS
Fall is a wonderful time to try one of our fancy specialty cocktails, or not. In fact, if you'd rather just have a good bourbon, that's good for us, too. But we do have some new, exciting drinks for you to try:- Grey Hound
- Sausalito
- Cosmo Royale
- Toasted Nut
- Blue & Grey
- Ritz
To see our wine menu, please click here. Our lawyers will want us to note here that you must be at least 21 to drink alcohol, which you already know. Some of us would like to go back in time and be less than 21 again just to see what we looked like before gravity set in -- but that's not going to happen, now is it.

Yes, you can cook a turkey and look like Julia herself. This is the recipe that will take you to turkey fame. It's been used successfully by good cooks and some folks who can't cook worth a darn. Murphy was walking down the street the other day and someone stopped him and said, "Aren't you the two-hour turkey guy?" Why, yes. So here, back by popular demand, is Murph's 2-Hour Delicious Turkey Recipe. Now one very important note: if you get a turkey the size of a mobile home, you are going to need to adjust your cooking time, okay.
Click here to download the recipe now. *Everyone thinks it takes 4 hours to cook a turkey. So use this method and you can have 2 hours to do, well, whatever you darn well please.

You never know what could happen right here in the heart of Buena.
