Greetings!
 | | Drop by the Diamondback TONIGHT AND SATURDAY NIGHT and we'll get you in the Halloween spirit. And for all those dads whose children are making them dress up this Halloween, we salute you. And we've got some tequila for you. PLEASE NOTE - WE WILL BE CLOSED HALLOWEEN NIGHT so we can do some trick or treating of our own. | Happy pre-Halloween, everyone. Lots of moms out buying bags of sticky candy, finding PC weapons for Batman outfits and putting up fake spider webs on the porch with a rickety old 40-foot ladder propped up against the side of the house ... (God bless you, moms.) Actually we're getting ready for a ghoulish weekend ourselves. Phillip is testing batches of his famous "witches' brew" (which is actually very satisfying work if you can get it). Join us tonight, Oct. 29, and Saturday, Oct. 30. Please note we'll be closed on Halloween Night.
Lots happening the rest of the month and we hope you'll just scroll on down to see all of our upcoming events, mark your calendars and come join us for some good old-fashioned fun.
-Kimberly and Murphy Gregg, Owners

new DB shirts, hats and koozies
Come and get 'em. The Diamondback has incredible new shirts, baseball hats and koozies in a variety of sizes and colors. Wearing a DB shirt from the Diamondback will instantly make you look thinner, wealthier and feel more vital.*** For out of town folks who want to order, click here.
***Our lawyers would want us to add here that that's probably actually not true. But wouldn't it be nice if it were. You can buy our DB shirts, koozies and hats at the bar. Which is a pretty good excuse to come in and have a margarita this weekend or maybe a beer in one of our new koozies. We don't know who made up the word koozie because, well, it's a little wierd, but the concept of keeping beer perfectly cold is darn fine.

100HIGH to host miss north carolina lunch
This may rank right up there with our visit from George Clooney. Yes, 100HIGH is going to be the site for a lunch for the Miss North Carolina pageant.
We're psyched and we're certainly honored that the organizers chose us for this event. And for all of you who secretly wish you had a tiara of your own, well, you can just be with us in spirit.

thank you and well, thank you

An extra little note from Murphy with some updates from the Furniture Market ... Well, we served 7,000 customers in 6 days including Showplace, American Leather, Standard Furniture, Simon Li, Market Authority, Hallmart and even catered a cocktail party to roll out Donald Trump's new bedding (thankfully, no, we did not get "FIRED").
Our Winston-Salem and High Point staff pulled off a true miracle and we are forever indebted to these hardworking, smart, incredible folks. Thank you. No one in High Point can figure out how we do it and I tell them it's because of my unbelievable staff.
Also, many many many thanks to W-S friends the Houghs, Reardons, Turners, Nastasis and Hinds who came to eat, drink, visit, see Kansas play "Carry On My Wayward Son" and generally remedy our homesickness. Thank you and we love you guys. We love High Point but it felt mighty good to be back at the DB in Winston-Salem with our family and friends. So thank you for that, too. Hope to see you over the Halloween weekend for a little fun. - Murphy
