Greetings!
 Well, the temperature has gone from subzero to 100 in about 24 hours and the word of the day is Zyrtec. We'll take it. Hope all of you are back from spring break feeling relaxed, de-wintered and calm. And for those of you who are going to be a whole lot less calm with Tax Day coming up April 15, well, we recommend a nice spring margarita.
Great month ahead
April is actually a wild month for the staff
at the Diamondback. During Furniture Market week (April 16-21) we're
catering events all over High Point, while our sister restaurant, 100HIGH, will be running wide open. Please note: we're planning to be closed at the Diamondback on Sunday, April 18, and Monday, April 19 (otherwise our staff may pull their hair out). Hope you'll plan a little road trip and come see our
incredible space at 100HIGH (see below for a nice incentive!). We even have a glass pyramid out in front of
our entrance. Wonder if we could put a matching one in front of the DB?

We're just taking two days to try to serve all these folks in High Point, and even though it sounds like we'll be on vacation eating bon bons, that's just not the case. Dash on over before or after the baseball game
Home games start April 13
 Looks like we're ready for some baseball in the heart of Winston-Salem! Go Dash! Make a night of it and head on over to the Diamondback before or after any of the 70 Dash home games. Most of them start around 7:00 pm.
If you haven't seen the new Dash website, you can check it out by clicking here. By the way, tickets for the Dash's home games at BB&T Stadium are available for all games (except for opening day, which sold out in 25 minutes), and you can get them for as little as $7.00.

Earth Day - April 22
 April 22 is Earth Day, and naturally we'll be celebrating Mother Earth around here. You know at the Diamondback we love to serve locally sourced food whenever possible. Come in and try one of our "make-your-own" salads with fresh greens and veggies. We also serve organic milk for kiddies and fresh free-range chicken. Hope to see you on Earth Day. We'll just be getting back from the Furniture Market so it will be chill-out day, too.

Congratulations to Pam Saunders, our bracket Contest Winner

The update from Murphy himself: Pam Saunders nosed out Camille Galloway by one point, just like the NCAA championship game itself. GIRLS RULE...GIRLS RULE! Camille got 25 of 32 first-round games correct - amazing! In the end it was not enough to keep pace with Pam, who was only person to pick DOOK to win it all. Reporting live from Carolina Circle Control Room...JMG out.
