Dear ,
Well, summer is almost over and we hope you've enjoyed every last minute of it. We've loved seeing so many friends back at the Diamondback so tan and happy. Yes, the dads are relaxed because, well, the moms are relaxed. And the moms are relaxed because someone else is taking care of their children all day at school and they no longer have to spray and spread sunscreen all morning. Yes, life is good.
Some exciting news: This fall we'll be heading up a new hot spot in High Point for the Furniture Market. We're calling it 100HIGH and it's all about great food, cocktails and even a little dancing after the Furniture Market. Actually we named it 100HIGH because it's on the 100 block of High Avenue and this year is the 100th anniversary of the High Point Furniture Market. Lots going on this month: We'll be watching football, offering great dinner and drink specials every night of the week, hosting two big Crab & Oysterfests, and welcoming all our buddies back. We have a fabulous new Wine List and we're getting great feedback on it. You know we pour more than most places you'll find. And that's a good thing.

Great food for less
 Monday: Shrimp & Crab Legs Night - $20
Half-pound of peel-and-eat shrimp, plus a cluster of jumbo snow crab with drawn butter, cole slaw and potatoes (or
fries). This could be messy friends. Wash it down with "$1.00 Dirt-Cheap Cold Beer."
Tuesday: Surf & Turf Grill - $22
A juicy 4-ounce filet medallion cooked to perfection with a half-dozen grilled shrimp, roasted new potatoes and veggies.
Also on Tuesday: $2 Tuesdays for Kids
Children can order any entree on the Children's menu, with lots of healthy side dishes, for just $2. Kids eat cheap and have a blast while you sit back and have the Surf & Turf. Life is short - let's enjoy.
Wednesday: Crab Cake Night - $19
Come for a beautiful platter of crab cakes accompanied by
sauteed asparagus, jasmati rice and lemon buerre blanc.
Thursday: Mixed Grill Night - $22
Your choice of grilled or blackened tuna or salmon plus savory

The Diamondback Grill is proud to host "Pasta for Parenting" - a benefit lunch for Imprints. Imprints is a local nonprofit group that offers parent education and family support. Its goal is to help children get off to the right start from birth and go on to school ready to learn. Dr. Don Martin, superintendent for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, will be the guest speaker. We are proud to host the Wake Forest Men's Soccer Team for its training table once again. These are some fantastic athletes and we are hoping they'll have a great season this year. The games are awesome and we want everyone to support these guys this year. Call for curb-side take-out and we'll have dinner ready for you to eat on the hill!
