Greetings!
 Women be forewarned: many (normally exemplary) men will have their faces glued to the TV this month and they will be unable to assist you with child care, trash duty, home organization projects or help in any measureable way. Why? Because girlfriends, it's March Madness -- what can you do. We say head on over to the DB for big tvs, great food, lots of big sports fans and a center court seat. (*We are aware that there are some women who watch more basketball than most men in the entire world -- we're talking big picture okay.)
 Huge thank you to our Valentines Lovers, Mardi Gras partiers, frozen sledders and everyone else who came in during February. It was a wild and crazy month. We haven't had that many celebrities at the DB since George Clooney himself walked in the door. We love you Laney Pope, Katie O'Brien, Nicole Ducoeur and the WXII camera crews. We're still dreaming about the little plastic babies stuffed into king cake, fluffy snow and those shiny red bead necklaces with big crawfishes on them. Thank you everyone for making it a month to remember!
 Lots going on this month: incredible ACC and NCAA Basketball Tournament action; our 2009 NCAA bracket contest to see who knows their stuff; a welcome to spring; Duke @ Carolina on March 8th, Spring Break for some (and we hope someone's going to Turks & Caicos to tan their naked backsides since we won't be) -- Plus, lots of good food, wine and friends to make life a little bit more merry despite what the Dow Jones Industrial says.

 3.08.09 - BASKETBALL/SHRIMP & BBQ RIBS TAILGATE PARTY- Duke @ Carolina | DB will open at 3:30 pm | Bar Food available at 4 pm | Full menu available at 4:30 pm | This is one of the biggest games of the year so we figured we'd just open a early and have a tailgate party. Well, life is short. Why not enjoy it. Come for a great seat and put some fiery hot food to your lips.
3.12.09 - ACC TOURNAMENT BEGINS  3.13.09 -ACC BASKETBALL ACTION | "GEORGIA ON MY MIND" SOUTHERN FOODFEST - The ACC Tournament will be played in Georgia this year so we figured we should have some Southern Specials to get everyone in the mood.

3.15.09 - SELECTION SUNDAY - Yes, sports fans this will be the night we start getting ready for our 2009 Bracket Competition. The G. family won big last year and they may be ready for some more of that fame and glory. Good luck!
3.17.09 - ST. PATTY'S DAY CELEBRATION | Join us and get jiggy for St. Patty's Day. We'll be serving traditional Irish favorites plus we'll have scotch that's older than our children.

 2009 DIAMONDBACK GRILL BRACKET CONTEST - Who will win fame and glory (plus a $25.00 gift certificate) in our prestigious Bracket Contest? Who will take on last years' runaway grand prize winners the Camille and Jimbo G. family this year?
Yes, it's an exciting time around here. Entry forms to the Bracket Contest will be e-mailed to you on Selection Sunday, March 15th (or maybe the morning after). Then you'll have until March 18th to make your picks. All entries must be received at the DB by March 18th at midnight to be eligible to win. Join us for our annual St. Patty's Day Celebration where we'll be celebrating in grand style and drinking very old scotch and drinking beer that's so dark you can't even see through it. For you folks that have never been brave enough to try the traditional Irish "black and tan" -- well here's your chance. Specials on Irish Beer and Whisky, Guinness Irish Stout, Bass Ale Black & Tans, Bushmills, Jameson, The Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, The Macallan.
Special menu to give you the luck of the Irish (and we all use a little more luck lately): Corn Beef and Cabbage simmered in Guiness, Steamed Potatoes and Carrots in Lemon Chive Butter, Fish and Chips. This hearty food will ease your mind and calm your spirits. Well, atleast in theory. |

 1. WAKE FOREST MEN'S SOCCER TEAM BACK AT OUR TRAINING TABLE FOR THE 10TH YEAR We're proud to welcome this nationally acclaimed, incredible team back to the Diamondback for their 10th training table. Whatever they're eating seems to be working well for them. If you've never been to a soccer game over at Wake, we hope you'll do that this year. Call and get our curb-side take out and have dinner on the hill!
 2. BEAUTIFUL ART ON THE WALL This month we'll have art by Ellen Christian and Sally Corpening. These ladies have been incredibly popular. If you're walls are looking a little blah and you need something to perk you up a bit -- this may be the trick and art is always an excellent investment. Perhaps better than some of the other ones we've chosen lately.

 6. WINE AT THE WINE BAR - Join us at the wine bar this month and do a little Spring tasting. Try some of the wines on our new wine list that you may not be familiar with. We have three sizes you can choose from sample, taste, regular pour. Did you know that the Diamondback actually serves you more wine than a lot of restaurants? Why? Well, why not.
 7. MARDI GRAS PICTURES - Lots of the pictures you see in this e-mail were from our Make-A-Wish fundraiser. We had a wild and crazy night and we loved every minute of it.
