Greetings!

Ah November... The air is cool, your back may be out from blowing 17,000 leaves (which were immediately replaced by 17,000 more leaves) and your mailbox may be pulling off it's hinges because of the 18 pounds of Christmas catalogues...  But the truth is, this is our very favorite time of year at the Diamondback.  Sure the economy is in the tank. But this is the time of the year when the DB is bustling with friends coming in out of the cold, the bar is packed and crowds roll in to watch the games. We're building fires and bringing out the good reds. And it's always true:  face-to-face with a cold beer is always more fun than Facebook.

bbqLots going on this month. This month we'll be featuring a Diamondback favorite that's only available this time of year: Brunswick Stew.  Yes, this is our famous homemade stew that makes you feel all warm and toasty on the inside (even when you're feeling dirt poor on the outside.) We even have some special customers who take it home by the quart. We'll also be serving up tons of fresh oysters and Shrimp & Grits.

And a special thanks - last month our catering staff served about 4,000 people in 8 days in High Point at the Furniture Market.  Talk about spending some time in the kitchen.  It went great and we thank our home team in Winston-Salem for supporting us.  Thanks everyone and we hope to see you at the Diamondback soon.

turkeyMURPHY'S FOOL-PROOF TURKEY RECIPE
Murphy and his famous "Two-Hour Turkey Recipe" were recently featured in "Piedmont Parent" magazine. Believe us, Murphy has cooked a lot of turkeys and this recipe is absolutely fool-proof.  If you want a turkey that looks like a Thanksgiving magazine cover, click here.
Irish CoffeeWARM UP AT THE BAR
Baby, it's getting cold outside.  Warm up at the DB with a delicious Irish Coffee, hot Buttered Rum or hot cocoa with marshmallows for the kids. The Diamondback also serves 45 wines by the glass. Come in on a cold fall night for a wine tasting. Choose a rich burgundy or a wonderful pinot noir to try without having to open a whole bottle.
P.S. For those who would rather work by a nice roaring fire than inside a stale cubicle -- we do offer free wi-fi. Come on over!
ALSO HAPPENING AT THE DIAMONDBACK
istock image of crayonsWHY THE SUPER NANNY WOULD LOVE THE DIAMONDBACK
Okay so most of us don't have an english nanny - so what. Moms and kids love the Diamondback because we have affordable food, a big fish tank, waiters who can dodge moving children with ease and popsicles even when it's 30 degrees outside. We also offer organic milk, portions that aren't as big as the table, fruit and applesauce as sides and $1.00 Sundaes on Sunday.  Plus we always have a fresh supply of crayons and a big white paper cloth so Moms who sometimes wish they had an english nanny can have a glass of La Crema and relax.
winePARTIES AT THE DIAMONDBACK ARE MORE FUN
It's crunch time for Holiday party planning.  If you want to be enjoying your guests and not stuck with your head in the oven all night -- give Murphy a call at (336) 722-0006 and we'll plan a night to remember.  You can also download our "Diamondback Party Pack" and start planning your party right now.
presentsGIVE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS A DIAMONDBACK GIFT CERTIFICATE THIS CHRISTMAS
And they'll love you for it.  Those teacher's don't need another Garfield mug - no!  They would love a nice dinner out. So send them to the Diamondback and we'll take great care of them. Just call the Diamondback at (336) 722-0006 and tell us how much you'd like the gift certificate for and we'll mail it to you. We're not promising better grades for Little Timmy but listen, it can't hurt.
