Greetings!
Now that gas costs more than a glass of our house chardonnay, maybe it's time to sit down and sip a little. Good thing that the Diamondback is one of those places you can go even when your bank gets bought out, the  economy is failing and you can't take another moment of election coverage. You can come in and enjoy Drink & Dinner Specials every night of the week and you don't have to hire a babysitter -- we have a big aquarium and free crayons -- not to mention single malt scotch. Oysters are coming in by the bushel, we're baking bourbon pecan pies and barbecuing ribs and your kids can't beg you to put on their Halloween costumes if they're at the DB. So head on over.
Lots going on this month. This month we'll be featuring a Rib
and Shrimpfest, a huge Oyster Roast (the oysters that are coming in are absolutely beautiful), events throughout Halloween weekend and more. We look forward to seeing you.
P.S. Please note the Diamondback will be closed on Wednesday, October 22nd (to serve 2,000 folks at the High Point Furniture Market. And yes, you read that right: 2,000!) Thanks!

 OYSTER ROAST

Join us for a seasonal favorite: a Diamondback Oyster Roast. Come for oysters galore: offered on the half shell or grilled with parmesan and butter - New Orleans style. The oysters are beautiful this time of year and naturally this would be the perfect opportunity for a date night. |
 HALLOWEEN WEEKEND
Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st
Halloween is on a Friday night this year and we'll be ready for you. For parents who actually want their kids to eat something other than 10 pounds of sugar on Halloween night-- well, bring them to the DB for organic milk and a tasty kids menu. We're psyched to see some Superman outfits with the faux biceps and lycra tights. And there will still be lots of time to load up your pillow case with goodies from the nice neighbors next door.
 On Saturday night, we'll have our RIB & SHRIMPFEST for those parents who have gotten the A+ parenting award. We'll be serving Diamondback's famous spicy ribs | peel and eat shrimp | potatoes with chive butter | fresh harvest vegetables and jalapeno corn bread | It's Wake vs. Duke (home game) that night so come join us for the fun and incredibly good food. Don't wear your best shirt. |
 BASEBALL LCS and WORLD SERIES
Come see the Fall Classic this month at the Diamondback. LCS also starts on October 20th with Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay. We'll have the games on - come have a beer with us.

 ELECTION NIGHT 2008
Tuesday, November 4th
Actually the Diamondback is known for drawing a crowd on Election Night. And finally we'll be ready to see if it's going to be Barack or John, Joe or Sarah. Come watch the returns and elect to have one of our 45 wines by the glass (maybe several depending on how your candidate is doing.) Come to think of it -- maybe leave your keys at home on Election Night and just walk on over. This could be a late night. |
