Greetings!
We're used to romance around here. It's true that 9 couples have fallen in love and gotten married while working at the Diamondback. Yes, apparently Cupid with his odd little love arrows likes to hang out at our sports bar watching ESPN on a bunch of hd tvs and tap into those Diamondback cocktails.
Come to think of it, that may explain some of his choices.
Lots to love this month. Sure you're going to have to stand outside in 28 degree weather putting gas that costs $3.19 in your car this month. And some of you will have to show up at a parent/teacher conference only to hear that your offspring aren't exactly on the fast track to Yale yet. But so what. February is a month for fun. We've got Super Bowl XLII on Sunday, February 3rd, Carolina vs. Duke on Wednesday, February 6th, Valentines Evening on Thursday, February 14th and our Wine & Tapas Series Event on Thursday, February 28th. And in between there are all sorts of opportunities to come on in out of the cold, take off your hat, gloves, scarf, face guard, ice goggles, snow boots, fleecy sweater, padded vest and North Face chocolate brown puffy coat and just relax.
February's Wine & Tapas Series Event, "A Night in Tuscany"
And speaking of our next Wine & Tapas Series Event -- this month we'll be celebrating the tastes of Italy. We certainly hope you'll join us for a night of champagne, wine, tapas and well, more wine. Reservations are a must. More info on that below. Last month was sold out and so much fun. Call 722-0006 to reserve your spot.
The easiest Valentine you've ever sent: we'll write it, stamp it and give it to the Postman. Yes, it's true. Even if you're the laziest romantic in America you will come out looking shiny on this deal. Just make your reservation for a fabulous Valentine's Dinner by February 8th and we'll send a customized Valentine to your dinner date. Now if you come to us crying on February 9th that your beloved is going to dump you because you didn't get the customized Valentine we'll try to help. But let's get those reservations in... we'd love to have you.
Pick up something hot tonight. Naturally we're talking about our delicious, quick and easy Curb-side Takeout. You can even order a "Make Your Own Salad" to go. So on those nights when you don't want to have stop watching Simon, Randy and Paula abusing low talent singers from Nebraska well, you can just give us a ring and we'll make dinner for you.
We'll see you at the Diamondback.

Also going on in February
1. So you're not Rachael Ray. Big deal. Just turn on the Food Network and order out. We spend all day working on dinner -- so you don't have to. Our Curb-side Takeout is fast, delicious and there's no chance you'll cut yourself trying to dice or burn the house down trying to flambe. For a copy of our Curb-side Takeout menu, click here.
2. Fired up.
Come join us by the fire this month and have a nice glass of wine. Or try one of our spiked hot drinks that will make your political debates far more interesting.
3. 20' Wine Bar that's not very far. Our gorgeous new Wine Bar offers 45 wines by the glass. You can order a full glass or try a tasting sample of several different wines if you're feeling adventurous (or indecisive). Did you know we serve more wine in our glasses than some other restaurants. And why? Well, why not.
4. Make Your Own Salad. Treat yourself to a salad made just the way you want it. We have over 65 different ingredients to choose from; fresh vegetables; low fat/low calorie dressings and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible for incredible flavor. Plus our Palm Beach Chopper will chop your little tender lettuce leaves so you won't have to exhaust yourself cutting -- you can just enjoy. If you'd like to see our "Make Your Own Salad" menu and just dream about those tasty little veggies, click here.
5. Bring your laptop. Wireless internet is available for free. And so
is a place on one of our cushy sofas.
6. We're open. The Diamondback Grill is open 7 days a week beginning with bar service at 5 pm. Dinner service begins at 5:30 pm. We don't do lunch. We don't do breakfast. We certainly do hope to see you soon.
7. Big Lucky Winner of the Month. Our lucky winner of the month is Tom L. Tom was kind enough to give us his e-mail, so now not only does he get our e-news, he'll get a $25 gift certificate to go towards a divine dinner.
8. Valentines Shopping at the Diamondback Art lovers will notice some beautiful new pieces on our walls this month. Come check them out and take something home with you.
9. Birthday parties, engagement parties, cocktail parties, graduation events and more... whatever you have going on -- call the Diamondback and let us cater your special event for you. Have it at your place -- or ours. We have an incredible array of appetizers, delicious 3 and 4 course dinners and desserts to choose from. To download our 2008 "Diamondback Party Pack", click here.
10. Vegetarians welcome here. Our chef Brad Moore and sous chef Ben Gordon take pride in offering many divine, delicious and decidedly meat free choices. If you are interested in vegetarian options, just ask your waiter.
For all of you who have made it down to this itty bitty type, we certainly thank you for your time. We really did have a lot of news this month. Now we can all go back to politics and the Spears family. Many thanks everyone. |
