Greetings!
You might own a $6,000,000 beach house and you're planning to be gone most of July. And then again, you may not. Either way, we hope you'll stop on in this month and see your buddies at the Diamondback Grill. We've got the air conditioning cranked up, some delicious new tapas for you to taste, great events planned, and more.
Everyone seems to love the new Wine Bar. It's a relaxed place to sit and have dinner or choose one of our 32 wines by the glass.
And speaking of wine, we had such a great time at our first Wine & Tapas night. We thank everyone who was part of the sold out crowd.

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS MONTH July 4th (Wednesday) - Diamondback will be closed. (We'll see you on the 5th)
July 10th (Tuesday) - Major League All Star Game for Father/Sons (moms and daughters -- you're welcome too). Grab your Little League teammates and join us! Specials include: Ballpark menu, $2.00 beers and $4.00 mixed drinks
July 14th (Saturday) - Bastille Day Celebration -- Specials on everything French -- French wine, French food... you get the idea.
July 17th (Tuesday) - Super Summer Shrimp Boil - $17.95. All of your summer favorites -- all on one plate. Back by popular demand. Specials include: $2.00 beers and $4.00 mixed drinks.
July 26th (Thursday) - Wine Night -- "Oceans 11" -- An 11 course seafood tapas extravaganza with a flight of summery wines. That's right -- eleven courses!!! Make plans to join us -- call for reservations today.

with a flight of summery wines
 Make reservations now for our "Oceans 11" Wine & Tapas Night coming up on July 26th. We're planning a divinely delicious 11 course seafood tapas extravaganza that will include: o ysters and champagne, seafood "towers" with sushi tuna, clams casino, calamari with artichokes, chilled crab legs with lemon aioli, miniature crab cakes and more.
Murphy and our other wine authority Tabatha Smith (from American Premium Beverage) will be back to talk about the different wines that are being served. One important note -- please make your reservations before July 24th. We can't wait to see you. P.S. Thank you George Clooney for letting us constantly refer to you in our advertising. Please send the rest of Holllywood. Speaking of: someone noted that our neighbor Rosemary Harris of Spiderman fame joined us the other night. We loved that.
NOTES FROM OUR FABULOUS FIRST WINE TASTING: We thought our June Wine Night was a blast. Thanks to all the folks who came and tasted our brand new tapas menu and drank lots and lots of 2 ounce sips of wines. By the time dessert came around we were all feeling great about Wine Night. To everyone who came -- if there was a wine you fell in love with we can help you order bottles or cases at a great price. Call Murphy for more info.

BASEBALL NIGHT for DADS AND PLAYERS
Thursday, July 10th starting at 5:30 pm
 Dads - get your Little League player and take him out to the Diamondback for a great night of Major League Baseball. We'll have the All Stars game on every TV in the house. Specials will include:
Kobe beef burgers with hickory smoked bacon and gorgonzola cheese, Nathan's All Beef hot dogs, root beer and popsicles for kids. We'll also have all of your favorites from our regular menu.
Kids who show up wearing a Major League/Little League team shirt or hat will get a free hot dog with all the fixings.
No cleats. No metal bats. No cups necessary, unless they're the kind your drink from. We'll see you at Little League Night! |

1. Don't forget our fabulous new Curb-side pick-up service. Just call in and order dinner and we'll bring it out to you.
2. Unless you ladies just want to show off your new Jimmy Choos -- it's always fun to just walk on over. You'll save gas, save the environment, save yourself from Johnny Law... Bottom line: you don't need a designated anything if you leave your car at home. Bring a flashlight for the walk back.
 3. Stop by after a long day and relax at the new Wine Bar. You can sip Chardonnay (or 31 other wines by the glass) and enjoy the extreme makeover we've done on this area. Murphy's added another flat screen tv so you can see your favorite sports event in all of its glory. Eventually we'll have our great new tapas menu available at the Wine Bar all the time.
4. You may notice a lot of great new art on the walls from the Associated Artists of Winston-Salem, Inc. Artists Anatoly Kudravcev and Kathy Vincent's works are now on display and are for sale. You can also test your own talent on our paper tablecloths -- we'll supply the crayons.
