Real Bread Outreach - A Non Profit Corporation
A note from Sue Becker

Most of you who know me, know that I have passion for teaching others about healthy eating.  Over the past few years, I have become increasingly aware of the overwhelming needs of others who lack the means or knowledge to correct their lifestyle.  This past year, while going through my trial with cancer, God continuously sent messages to me that He was expanding my ministry.  God revealed to me in a powerful way that there are spiritual roots to disease and led me through my healing process.

With a deep desire to share my message of healing both physically and spiritually with the needy, I founded Real Bread Outreach in September 2007.   God is already opening doors for ministry opportunities.  If you would like to make a donation or to read more about our vision and mission statement please go to the Real Bread Outreach web site at www.realbreadoutreach.com.

With great excitement we will be presenting our first "Empowering the Body and Soul" Conference.  See below for details.

Simmer Mat

Have you ever had your food burn when simmering? How about your food boiling dry when you were not looking? The Simmer Mat will prevent this from ever happening again. Heat is transferred to the base of the pot through the tips of the cones, and spreads the heat so evenly that there are no hot spots.

It is also great for keeping cooked food hot for several hours with out drying out - which is great for busy families that need different meal times.

It works on all cooking appliances: gas, electric, glass, ceramic, halogen stoves, coil rings, solid plate elements, barbecue, camping and marine stoves. Made of the highest quality zero carbon steel, enameled. Octagon shape, 7-7/8' 'W.

Sweet Wheat And Sweet Kids

We discovered Sweet Wheat at the Natural Products Expo in September.  Since using Sweet Wheat I have noticed a significant increase in energy and stamina, correction of water retention issues and a noticeable decrease in appetite especially for sweets.

Sweet Wheat is the Original Organic Freeze Dried Wheat Grass Juice Powder
  • The Ultimate Green SuperFood - Wheatgrass contains the highest percentage of absorbable vitamins, minerals and trace elements of any plant. Sweet Wheat is the world's No. 1 100% Organic Freeze Dried Wheatgrass Juice powder.
  • Mineral Rich - Sweet Wheat comes from the world's highest quality mineral-rich wheatgrass. Grown to uncompromising standards from the highest quality organic seed, in specially prepared organic soil. Watered with mineral enriched water, it is harvested at peak nutritional potency and kept cold till it's freeze dried into a convenient powdered form that the human body can easily assimilate with all the fresh vitamins, minerals, and live enzymes intact.
  • Live Enzymes - Sweet Wheat's live enzymes pack many times the health-giving punch of dead enzymes. Sweet Wheat is so confident of its potency and so proud, that it lists all its live enzymes right on the label, something only a true freeze dried juice can claim, because the heat necessary to oven dry wheatgrass juice will kill the enzymes.
  • Boost your Energy - Sweet Wheat boosts energy while suppressing the appetite for sugar and junk food. It helps replace the majority of vital nutrients lacking in today's pesticide infested junk food world
  • Improve Your Health - Sweet Wheat helps detoxify the body while oxygenating and rebuilding the blood supply. It promotes higher quality sleep and greater mental alertness. The nutritive properties of Sweet Wheat help the human body combat diseases and alleviate symptoms ranging from arthritis to high blood pressure.
  • For parents, Sweet Wheat provides all the essential and non-essential amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and live enzymes so vital to the growth and development of a child yet so hard to find in today's fast food jungle.
  • Sweet Kids is designed with younger children in mind especially those with behavior or learning disorders.  We gave a mother a 30 day supply to try on her young child with serious behavior issues at school.  In just a few weeks, the child was asking for his "vitamins" and there were no conflicts at school.  The mom came back for more!  Suggested use is to take once a day with a meal, 1 capsule/25 lbs body weight.
  • Healthy Kids do better - Children who have added Sweet Kids to their diets, with no other change, have shown some remarkable changes, exhibiting calmer behavior, increased ability to focus, and greater cooperation in completing school work, or chores, when asked. Some seemingly intractable problems simply vanished.
  • Better Nutrition - Sweet Kid was developed to provide children with less than perfect diets a wide range of vitamins, minerals and proteins missing from their fast food and sugar-saturated lunchroom diets. In addition to changes in attitude, taking Sweet Kid regularly, assisted in eliminating the child's craving for junk food - a craving that is not natural or healthy.
  • Sweet Kid's Special Formula - Sweet Kids is a special, natural formulation containing 100% Organic Sweet Wheat freeze dried wheatgrass juice, specific enzymes and nutrients (such as the probiotics bifidus and acidophilus) in combination with the Superfood, blue-green algae.
Item 00990 Sweet Wheat - $28.13

Recipe

Quick Chili Served over Cheddar Corn Waffles

With cold weather still nipping at our noses, a pot of soup or nice hot chili makes a great lunch or dinner.  This is one of our family favorites and is so fast and easy to make in a pressure cooker!  Of course, the chili can be spiced up to your family's taste and can be cooked conventionally as well.  Directions are for use with the Kuhn Rikon pressure cookers.

Quick Chili

  • 1 lb. Ground beef
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 cup dry kidney beans - quick soaked in the pressure cooker (see below)
  • tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1 Tbs. chili powder

To quick soak beans:  In a 3 qt or larger pressure cooker combine 1 cup of dry kidney beans, 4 cups water and 1 teaspoon of salt.  On High heat bring pressure up to second red ring.  Reduce heat to maintain pressure and cook for 2-5 minutes.  Turn off heat and let pressure naturally release.  Leave the lid closed and just let the beans soak until ready to prepare the chili.  When ready to use drain off the water and add to rest of ingredients.

To prepare the chili: Brown ground beef and drain. Combine the rest of the ingredients in the pressure cooker. On high heat bring pressure up to 2nd red ring.  Reduce heat to maintain pressure and cook for 5-6 minutes.  A simmer mat works great here to keep the chili from scorching.  See info below on the simmer mat.  Let pressure naturally release while you prepare the waffles.  Release pressure and serve over waffles if desired.

Cheddar Corn Waffles

  • 3 cups freshly milled corn flour (I prefer white corn)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3-4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups grated cheese (I like pepper jack)
  • 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped jalapeo peppers (optional)

Mix together dry ingredients.  Add liquids to dry ingredients and mix until combined.  Stir in cheese, corn and peppers.  Cook on hot waffle maker (our flip Belgium Waffle Makers are fabulous! We have both a round or square model).  Serve warm with butter or with the chili on top.
