"Humor is a serious thing. I like to think of it as one of our greatest, earliest, natural resources, which must be preserved at all cost."

You may have read the following paragraphs in a printed copy of our quarterly newsletter you received last week in the old-fashioned way, via the US Mail. If so, I hope you'll forgive my redundancy and understand that there are many Circle-ers who've chosen to receive only this weekly e-newsletter - and that I wanted to communicate this message as widely as possible. I usually write you in my role as the Spiritual Director and guide of the Circle's mission and programming. But this time I'm writing on behalf of the Council of Stewards, responsible for the financial and structural health of the Celebration Circle. We feel it's important to let you know that the Circle is at a significant choice point. As with many other non-profit organizations across the country, our income has been deeply affected by the national economic situation. Despite having trimmed our operating expenses to $7,000 a month (which is quite low for an organization offering such a variety of events and services), our Operating Fund has been depleted and at our current rate we have just a few months of operating expenses remaining in our savings account. It is important to note that the Celebration Circle is not in immediate danger of closing our doors, nor do we wish to operate from a consciousness of scarcity. We simply want to make you aware of the facts of our situation and give you the opportunity to respond in whatever way suits you. We're asking for your help now in order to know how to handle some potentially-tough choices affecting our personnel and programming in the near future. We trust that the Circle has made a significant difference in your life, as it has in our lives. Whether you attend frequently or seldom, live locally or far away, donate regularly or not, we hope you'll agree that the Circle provides a valuable service that is unique and worth sustaining with an additional gift at this time. You'll see a brief version of our current Financial Report below; a more complete version can be found on our website on the "About the Circle" page. click here for link After reviewing the data, please take this opportunity to make a donation now. Whether you choose to click here to make a donation using the Pay Pal button on our website click here for link, buy raffle tickets for the beautiful amethyst crystal click here for link, write a check for $5,000 or mail a single dollar bill (our mailing address is 1830 E. Pyron, San Antonio, TX 78223), making your contribution today will create a significant shift in the abundance flowing to and through the Circle, and back into your life. Won't you take a moment to do so right now and help ensure the Circle will be there for you -- and many others - for years to come? With gratitude for your consideration, participation, love and support,
