I'm taking the liberty of sending this week's e-letter out a few days early, in hopes that you'll get this invitation for my Birthday Meditation un-Party, tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 7:30pm. It will be held at the Quaker Meeting House, the inspiring space where we usually hold our Meditation Circle. But this time I'll be celebrating my birthday with a special concert of meditative songs and silences, inter-woven with affirmations and intentions to support everyone present in supporting each other's creative dream(s). I'm turning 57, old enough to prefer spending the day quietly, rather than "living it up" as I might have in earlier years. Old enough to have acquired more "stuff" than I know what to do with, so I really don't want any presents - I much prefer dwelling in the Presence, focusing intentions for the coming year(s) in the company of friends and fellow travelers on the Path. I intend to move outside my comfort zone and be more creative, expansive, loving and generative this year. It's a tall order, which is why I'm blatantly asking for your supportive energy. But I feel good about it, knowing that you (and anyone else willing to tune in and tap into the powerful, loving energy we'll be generating together) will benefit from joining us from 7:30-8:30pm Wednesday, either in person, or in Spirit. In any case, thanks for your consideration and continued support of the Celebration Circle. It feels great to be walking alongside you, as together we remember: We Are One. With gratitude and blessings, | |
