The election is finally over and the winner is ... ALL OF US! Our country is at an exciting juncture, with an historic opportunity to embrace a consciousness of inclusion as the basis of our national policy. Sure, it's a stretch. But why not? And when, if not now? We're experiencing a vast wave of energy moving across the land, with millions of voters expressing their desire to move in a new direction. We have an unusually large group of highly motivated people demonstrating their willingness to work for change. And we have elected a dynamic, gifted new leader with an engaging vision for what is possible. The question is, "How can we capitalize on this unique circumstance?" For as Obama said on election night, "This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make this change." So what can you do? There are many possible answers to a big question like that. Many actions to be taken in a variety of areas. But as a long-time student and teacher of spiritual development, I truly believe that one of the most powerful things we can do is to use our inner powers in the service of the change we've been longing to see. To take the time and energy to experience the change you long to see at the feeling level, as if it were present right here, right now - because it is! To use your amazingly creative capacity for Divine Imagination to visualize and FEEL what it is like to be living in a world of peace and possibility. To spend some time daily aligning your prayers, meditations and/or visions with those of countless others seeking to anchor this new reality in the present tense, too. But, on the other hand, it's also important not to get hung up on trying to change anything or anyone. Nor get too attached to a "magical Someday" when everything will be better. It's a delicate balancing act, but it's do-able. Will it require some effort? Sure. Will it make any difference? Absolutely. Can we do it? Yes, we can! That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. That's my invitation, and I hope you'll consider it. With blessings and hopes of seeing you Around the Circle,

Sundays
THIS SUNDAY
November 9th
"Further Down the Good Red Road"
We're so fortunate to have guest speaker, Hal Robinson, return to share more teachings from his Native American perspective. An eminent Gestalt therapist, spiritual teacher and Sundancer of Mohawk ancestry, Hal is one of the most popular speakers we've ever had in the Circle - visit his website to learn more - www.dancingbearteachinglodge.com. Also, Rudolf will be returning from the retreat in New Braunfels to share some of that great Slumber Falls Camp energy, as well as some exciting new music.
Rudolf shares some thoughts on the role of meditation in daily life. And we're delighted to welcome back the sparkling, three-part harmonies of Big Wide Grin, who took the Circle by storm last year. Check out www.bigwidegrin.com. They are amazing ... come hear for yourself!
