TUSD ANNOUNCES BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT SCHEDULE
Schools in the Tustin Unified School District will hold Back-to-School Night in the coming weeks. During the program, parents will have an opportunity to visit classrooms and talk to principals and teachers about lessons, grading, rules, events and other school matters. The schedule is as follows:
Elementary Schools: (grades K-5): (Tustin Memorial Academy already held its Back-to-School Night)
--Wednesday, Sept. 15: Arroyo, Benson, Beswick, Estock, Heideman, Hicks Canyon, Lambert, Loma Vista, Myford, Nelson, Orchard Hills School, Peters Canyon, Red Hill, Thorman, Tustin Ranch and Veeh
--Thursday, Sept. 16: Guin Foss and Ladera
Middle Schools (grades 6-8):
--Wednesday, Sept. 15: Orchard Hills School (grades 5-6):
--Tuesday, Sept. 21: Columbus Tustin, Currie, Hewes, Pioneer and Utt
High Schools (grades 9-12):
--Thursday, Sept. 16: Tustin
--Wednesday, Sept. 22: Foothill
--Thursday, Sept. 23: Beckman and Hillview

The Dinosaurs are Coming
The Dinosaur Dash, sponsored by Barnhart Balfour Beatty, is an annual 10k, 5k and 2k Run/Walk for Education, to be held Sunday, November 7 at The Market Place.  This year, to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we'll be adding a 50k Bike Tour.  So, now we'll be Running and Riding for Education. 
 
Raise funds for our schools through the Dinosaur Dash.  Use our simple website to set up a page and email your contacts for their support.  Collect $25 or more in donations, and we'll send you a special Walking with Dinosaurs thank you gift (while supplies last)!
