Planting the Seeds
Each year, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church conducts a great day of service, during which they provide teams of volunteers for special projects needed by their nonprofit partners. This year, a team spent the day installing a much-needed irrigation system for our safehouse garden.

Our garden is incredibly popular, allowing kids at the house to learn about plant growth, allowing women a productive outlet for stress-relief, and supplying the house with fresh, organic veggies all season long. However, the garden has suffered over recent years due to lack of rain and incredible heat. This irrigation system will have a tremendous impact and we are so grateful to PRUMC for providing and installing this amazing gift for us. |
