Happy holidays from all of us at WRC!  As we concentrate during this special time of year on what we are thankful for, we can't help but think of you.  Just as we do for the women we serve, you provide us with the love and support we need to keep doing this work day after day.  We appreciate your cheerleading, your congratulations, and the times when you share the anger and the heartache.  We could not do this work nearly as well without you. As any parent knows, toys are quickly broken, forgotten, or outgrown, but memories of a safe childhood can last forever.  That is why, each year, we challenge our donors to forgo the shopping trip for toys and, instead, make an investment in the stability of the families we serve by purchasing an item that will help a family's house feel more like a home.  Items needed most include dishes, pots and pans, cleaning products, towel sets, bedding sets, pillows, blankets, and space heaters.
